Why is every company spying on you with their apps?

I don’t get it. Every company from the bank, to the courier, to the apotechary/farmacy drug store, to the electricity/gas utilities want me to install their stupid spyware apps. Even supermarkets/shops do it.I’m fed up with the constant bullshit we’re forced to sustain thanks to “technology"They want to make it seem that I need to do that to ensure I can “simplify” my life and that they can give me bonuses and all other bullshit.I simply fail to comprehend why this is necessary in order to do anything and interract with them. This is stupidity, they simply want to make everyone part of a botnet .

People are dumb for putting up with this, cybersecurity is important .Before you say “you need to stay up do date with technology” know this: I’ve been writing code, deploying apps and know more than 99.997% of the population of the world in regards about technology, the internet, and programming. Here are some examples

Getting PIN for postal package

They used to send SMS or send it per email, now out of the sudden the SMS states that I need to use their app. Why can’t I just get the info

Getting invoices, receiving information and and/or sending index for water/gas/electricity

I know, you’re thinking I shuld have automatic meters… this is a discussion for another time. Why would I need an app? I could have done it via phone in the past. And via your website

To get X points and discounts!

Most companies already have great persona’s based on discount cards (which are just a number). Why can’t I give you a telephone number and/or have a picture of the card, or a QR code or whatever?

Why do companies do this?

Because they want to scan your phone for data, so they can sell it to other companies for a profit.Plus, they use your mobile phone as a botnet .

What can we do to avoid this

If you don’t care, then you can just continue to be an obedient sheeple. If you do care, then you need to give them bad reviews and just plain old complain. Not to the cashier, or the low end worker who’s in customer support, no you need to hit them were it hurts. The more they force us to use their spyware the more we’re going to let them introduce other bullshit which is privacy invading.

Happy Easter :)
