Closing Social Media, Retiring Content, and Fighting for a Human Internet

Reclaiming Digital Freedom

TLDR; Due to AI privacy concerns I will be retiring and rewriting a great deal of content. I will focus in the future almost exclusively on digital privacy and security. Including working on a few projects to aid with Privacy

The Problem of AI Data Slurp and Algorithmic Profiling

Why this change? The aggressive, and automated data collection and profiling now occurring across the web.

My logs already exposed that More than 50% of all traffic consists of aggressive bots , crawlers, and large-scale AI models designed solely to slurp and ingest data with no regards to privacy or copyright.

This material is fed into systems that analyze, profile, and attribute every word you write. For a critical thinker, the ease of cross-referencing and the frightening capabilities of current AI data hoarding, OSINT with AI/LLM systems have turned simple, open sharing into a significant liability.

While I believe in critical thinking and free speech, the current environment is flooded with AI-generated content and data brokering which creates millions of false positives. This means that even regulatory efforts like GDPR are insufficient to protect individuals from the resultant shitstorm of algorithmic profiling. I don’t want to have everything I do, say, or whatever be profiled, analyzed and have a “profile” of myself sold to anyone online. Even if that profile will probably be wrong

Yes, that’s a actual thing! Why do you think site has 300 links to other websites? To track every move you take.

My definitive move is toward greater digital independence and freedom to ensure my content is not simply fuel for large models or tracking networks, but instead contributes to the real human Internet—one based on intentional, respectful connection.

Closing Down the Social Sphere

I’m permanently closing down my accounts on all public social media platforms. I have long ceased using most social accounts for more than 10 years, but as of 2025, I have permanently closed down all my personal social media accounts.

LinkedIn is a Different Kind of Special Evil

LinkedIn warrants a specific mention. It is no longer just a platform used for data hoarding by marketing companies. It has become the new intentional pipeline for AI processing. By publicly announcing they will use everyone’s profile data to train AI/LLMs and pass it to third parties AND train their own systems, they have created a data goldmine.
We willingly labeled everything about ourselves down to the minute details, making it extremely valuable. They get to analyze it forever, While we can “opt out” of “some” data processing and collection. However, the data they posses was already processed and will continue to be processed, this is just a legal way to “cover their asses”

The Future of My Work and Presence - New content writing

I will be removing (or rewriting) many of the old blog posts and tutorials that no longer serve a core purpose. These articles, while helpful at the time, are now simply unnecessary data points for AI to process.

  • I have not stopped writing or sharing.
  • I am simply decoupling my work from my real identity by writing and contributing under a new, segmented online persona.
  • To maintain this separation, I will not be sharing the new location here. Think of this as protecting my ability to speak freely in a more private, intentional space.
  • I will continue to write here, focusing on privacy, security, and digital resistance to help others protect their digital independence aswell.

Blocking Bots - Proof-of-Work Initiative

To tackle the bot problem head-on, I plan to revisit research I conducted in the past. Namely implementing a system to block AI ans crawler bots. There are many caveats here. I was also thinking of implementing a Proof-of-Work (PoW) system on my sites. The goal is simple. Make it computationally non-trivial for aggressive AI scrapers to ingest content. This system has to remain friction-free for real human users. This is a complex project, and I look forward to researching and sharing my findings on this blog soon.

My New Venture Privacy-First Email Shield

I am channeling this energy and privacy concern into a new venture that directly addresses some of the problems we’re facing. I am actively working on launching a project specifically designed to help you regain control over your online privacy.
This new platform ZenShield will focus on providing Email Privacy Shield Aliases and tools to segment your digital life, ensuring that a data breach at one service cannot compromise your identity across hundreds of others. More details will follow soon.

What can YOU DO to stay safe?

If you’re interested in staying safe, privacy, security, etc you can leave a comment or contact me and let me know you’re interested in this so I can eventually write new blog posts.

As of November 2025 i’ve also added a new commenting system to the site replacing the old ones.
