Our lives are a constant illusion, our whole reality is a fabrication and potentially a hallucination of our brains and nervous systems.

We try to explain these illusions in life and we either

  1. Invent new illusions
  2. adop other people’s illusions

The term “illusion” has many different meanings:

  1. An erroneous perception of reality. “Mirrors gave the illusion of spaciousness.”
  2. An erroneous concept or belief. “The notion that money can buy happiness is an illusion.”
  3. The condition of being deceived by a false perception or belief.

We can therefore equate an illusion to any of the following synonyms/lookalikes: conspiracy theories, life theories

An erroneous perception of reality. is therefore the best way to describe an illusion, because our lives are made of perceptions, everything we do/know/hear is OUR or someone else’s perception on something.

Extrasensory perception? Out of body experiences? All brain malfunctions clearly explained scientifically in The Body Has a Mind of Its Own

Paranormal activities? Teleportation? All illusions of the brain to find synchronicity in things, sure, nature, our brains is complex, but we try to find explanations

I know, this is boring to read and hear

The whole reason to do somatics is to have our nervous system rest
