This year I “celebrate” 21 years of computer programming adventures.
During the past 3 years I even discovered a programming language for the Human Nervous System. One which allows anyone to calm their emotions, control depression, burnout, stress and eliminate chronic pain! This was not by accident.. but due to a long string of (some quite unsettling and unhappy) seredenpitious events.
Although I’ve been programming since that young age (12~13), I’ve always loved to learn a variety of different skills.
I’ve explored a multitude of programming languages throughout the years in which I built many different projects. TCL, PHP, C, , Elixir, Erlang, JavaScript, Java, Python, Ruby, ActionScript(Dead Language), C#, Visual Basic .NET and others.
I’ve evolved a lot and although I could say “this is the best programming language”. The reality is there is not “one best” programming language. They all have plus points and drawbacks. What I do feel sad about is that many people end up working all their lives in 1 programming language and never get to explore anything else. This makes the world a sad place because experience in multiple paradigms brings huge improvements.
For a long time I’ve wanted to have 1 programming language to do everything. This was extremely easy to do with TCL, however I had rebuild many systems from the ground to allow this. The learning environment made me a better programmer.
TCL or Tool Command Language is a scripting language created in 1988. It’s the tool I’ve used for 15 years to build almost anything, web apps, desktop apps, backend apps, bots. I’ve even built my own own web framework in it
Although I tired to use TCL for everything it was apparent that I always needed other programming languages due to the nature of freelancing and entrepreneurship. Even if it was just for interoperability (See Python for Cyber Security, 3D programming, and Artificial Intelligence)
In 2017 I discovered Elixir (and Erlang) and my world changed completely. I had a new “love” and for the next 5 years I explored a different ecosystem.
Nervous System Programming
Although I love programming, at a certain point I thought I would never be able to code again . It’s a complex story about how life can change abruptly. Luckily I had discovered Somatic Education . After investing hundreds of hours into making my self functional again after fluorquinolone induced toxicity (disability) I decided to research how this works on a scientific level. I then also decided to found LinSublim as a way to allow everyone to reap the benefits.
So I’ll be continuing to “code” the machine as I build LinSublim and also “program” nervous systems:).
