I hope people will wake up from the AI hype and realize it’s all an illusion meant to make some companies rich while fooling everyone. The same has happened with cryptocurrency which should have died, but instead, it revived because companies such as blackrock made ETF’s on it. People are heavily scammed into crypto and into anything. As long as people believe in hypes, they’re here to stay and fool as many people as possible.
We’re drowning in useless content and it’s estimated that 90% of the content on the internet will be generated by AI. Even GOOGLE and search engines have a hard time, they penalize “bot” websites but they penalize small real creators aswell, SEO is now officially dead, you can’t compete. THe only solution is to go down in the path of the [small independent web] with web rings and have very specific search engines This will create massive problems in the economy.

Why is AI a devolution to humanity?
I know a few people who are worried because of AI. One of them is good a software engineer who’s worried that AI will soon take over his job. Our jobs as software developers.

First, automation has been going onfor centuries. People who lose their jobs are those who are most likel yto be automated. Think of the McDonalds screens for ordering.

REality check:
- IF AI where so great, why are so many videos and websites talking about it? It it was a true competitive advantage it wouldn’t have been known publicly and the large companies would have not sold them. No one would make a video on “how to use AI tech” It’s just a marketing gimick ployed into getting you hooked to use it, invest time and energy and then pay for it.

- Lost Jobs -> No Economy -> Economic crash Governments dont want that, because when the economy crashes, chaos ensures, people will riot and crimes will skyrocket.
Ask yourself this: If everyone is replaced by AI, who will pay taxes? If everyone loses their jobs, who will have money to buy products? The economy will come to a standstil
It’s either this, or new bullshit jobs will be created
Because the fact that we’ve already been through a few technological evolutions instead of working less, we work more so AI is a lie just like all other lies.
The governments don’t want people to work less, because then you’d have more time to reflect, more time to be in nature, more time to grow your own food, build your own house, and to **stop consuming

Will not replace jobs, unemployment is going down SUre, some industries face issues, but it’s due to the massive growth spurs (remember COVID, many industries failed). Even gigants fail after years on top, that’s natura.
IN the 1700-1800’s the industrial revolution didn’t replace veryone/everywhere, even now, 300 years later, there still are craftsmen who do mostly manual jobs (even though they could be automated!), the industrial revolution created new jobs, mostly bullshit jobs, bureaucracies.

Second, if everyone has access to an AI tool which can run a business for you. Then, who will buy from you if everyone loses their jobs?
If 90% of what we do will be done by computers and AI, we won’t live in perpetual “liberty” but in a life of hell.
I’m not in the wagon of AI. Even though I use AI tools I build myself (not cloud based API’s) I don’t believe the full AI hype. It’s just a matter of fact before the planet turns on itself because the misabuse of AI
ChatGPT and CodePilot or anyother code generation system is doomed to fail It generates bad code It can COPY your code Github is a theft in disguise as it WILL take your code, run it on servers your whole project could be duplicated if working on proprietary data
