Technological Complexity
The technological complexity for building a Yahoo Chatbot was more difficult than say a IRC Chat Bot. Because of the fact that the Yahoo Messenger system was closed source and a great deal of reverse engineering was needed. A few libraries existed, mostly in C or Java
